The support for showing a Quartz animation in the background was really nice. 
Maybe it could be reimplemented in the future?

I will accept clean (re)implementation of this feature into current codebase. I 
personally don't use Quartz 
animation feature so I'm not going to do this anytime soon.

My goal was to make visor more stable in the first place and I didn't want to 
support extra bells and whistles.
