In your attached file max_batches = 500500 not 4000.
I can't reproduce your issue. You are doing something wrong in another place.
But when I use the original setting in the yolov4-custom.cfg, i.e., max_batches=500500, steps= 400000,450000. It can run.
Try to run default cfg-file, and change one parameter by one and find which param breaks your training process. For this don't use -map, mjpeg_port, tee, ...
Hi, @ntucschen Have you solved the problem? I have 3 classes. If I don't modify "max_batches" and "step", I can train, and modify them to "max_batches = 6000" and "step = 4800, 5400", respectively, and the error "Segmentation fault (core dumped)" appears. If I change it to "max_batches = 6500" and "step = 4800, 5400", I can train. However, I changed it again to "max_batches = 6000" and "step = 4800, 5400", and I can train again, which is really strange.
