Can not find cuda #5628

When build yolov4 version ,I installed cuda 10.0 and cudnn 7.6.4 for cuda 10.0 , OS: window 10 x64 The command nvcc works ok image

When configure with cmake ,: Can not find cuda

Looking for a CUDA compiler
Looking for a CUDA compiler - NOTFOUND

Any suggestion ? Thanks!

Also make sure you have all the required environment path variables, most of the times that's the issue

i had the same issue, you can fix it by setting the environment path variables yourself.

in my case it was enough to add the cuda+cuda bin directory to "path"

Thanks @teocns I use ninja to build successfully with cuda 10.1 ,

Generated darkd.dll , not dark.dll , The darkd.dll is the release file or the debug version ?

How to generate the release verison ? Thanks !

darkd.dll is the debug version, not the release one. May I ask you how do you build it, so that I can better guide you towards the release bits?

@cenit Change file build.ps1 , disable vcpkg ,and enalbe ninja

$number_of_build_workers = 8
$use_vcpkg = $flase
$use_ninja = $true
$force_cpp_build = $true

and run build.ps1 in powershell

Can you please delete the temporary folders created by cmake (usually build_release, but in your case it might be build_debug), pull from master, to update darknet (clone it in a new folder maybe to avoid merge conflicts), modify only ninja to true (you can leave vcpkg on even if you don’t have it) and then post the cmake log from screen and the CMakeCache.txt file? Debug builds are completely commented out. If you triggered that, you might have enabled them in the build.ps1 uncommenting their lines...

Also, force_cpp_build is not necessary 99% of the time. Leave it off

@cenit I cloned master branch from github If build with use_vcpkg and use_ninja both to true , The building failed:

If I build use_vcpkg=false and use_ninja =true ,The build was successful , But the result is debug verison .

Sorry for insisting, are you up-to-date with latest commit on master? There has been a fix related to use_vcpkg=true/false very recently. It should let you keep true without any problem. Also, please show building log (full, from start to end) when running a clean build and attach CMakeCache.txt
