Updated analysis: multivariate survival analysis to explore immune cell fractions' prognosis #1258

What analysis module should be updated and why?

survival-analysis

What changes need to be made? Please provide enough detail for another participant to make the update.

Similar to the analyses performed to assess relationships between TP53 scores and telomerase, we are interested in determining whether there is an immune cell type which might predict better or worse prognosis for cancer types and/or molecular subtypes within a cancer group. In addition, we are interested in adding PDL1 (CD274) expression as a covariate, although based on the comment here, we don't expect to see this as a prognostic indicator.

Analysis suggestions:

  1. Perform multivariate survival analysis using immune cell types (minus uncharacterized), PDL1 expression, and cancer group as covariates
  2. Within each cancer group, perform survival analysis using immune cell types (minus uncharacterized), PDL1 expression, and molecular subtype as covariates (while acknowledging we may have low Ns here)

What input data should be used? Which data were used in the version being updated?

When do you expect the revised analysis will be completed?

Who will complete the updated analysis?
