Update compiled supplementary figures #1324

When creating supplementary figure compilations, slight mistake on my part occurred - I took an approach to opening files to combine that accidentally rendered them PNGs. In the end, my compiled PDF figures are accidentally sets of compiled PNG graphics instead of PDF graphics.

This is not immediately necessary to fix for the draft, but it needs to be fixed for the final manuscript.

Figure S2 and S4 will need to be updated. S1 is a single PDF panel exported directly from Biorender, so it does not need to be updated.

There are already issues open for updating S3 (#1317) and S5 (#1321) for other reasons, so the fix will occur as part of updating the panels more generally. Therefore, this issue will specifically track updating S2 and S4:
