I have the same issue. Ping is near 60 ms, but very slow work
I wrote to dataplicity support and they told me there were some bugs, but they made some changes... Result: it is completly broken. I tried with 3 different Home Assistants in different locations and I tried to re-do everything from scratch.

Hello, just checking with you all if there is a general very low speed problem when trying to connect to HA with dataplicity. In the last few days it is getting so slow that I cannot even connect to HA. I have 3 HA in different places and all of them have the same issue.
Poor dataplicity service or something wrong on my side?
Thanks
