10 months ago I have the same issue, which started after updating HA in the beginning of this year. The first HA release (2024.1.1) of this year completely broke Sonoff integrations, which was fixed by the Sonoff integration update a day later.
My symptoms:
- BL05 bulbs turn on perfectly with automations but often (more than not) don't turn off again
- Turning them on 'manually' (via Home Assistant) sometimes results in the state not changing and the control button reverting
- Turning them off 'manually' often (more often than not) results in the light either not doing anything, or ever so slightly starting to dim before reverting to being on again

The problem this issue started after the update core_2024.1.1, when I found all automation that turns on the Sonoff B05 bulb can't turn back off the LED, 1st I thought it was a delay in the network but after a while, I discovered that triggering the Service light: Turn off, the log is showing a turn on is triggered but from Trun off service, then it seems like it halts and reset image
