Eufy Camera Integration stops after a few minutes #648

I have been struggling for quite a while to get this integration working on Home Assistant. I have followed all the documentation and comments and I can get it working for about 5 minutes then it stops with errors. A restart of Eufy security ws and the Eufy integration will get it going again. Looking for ideas. I will post the error logs etc below

Home Assistant:

Core 2024.1.6 Supervisor 2024.01.1 Operating System 11.5 Frontend 20240104.0

I am using Eufy security integration, Eufy security ws, go2rtc webrtc camera, and rtsp simple server.

I am not a coder so don't fully understand the details but if anyone has any pointers it would be appreciated.

Try to set mode for your webrtc card

Thanks I've added that now. I've also just found this discussion that might be the source of the issue as the cameras are battery/solar powered:

Did you sort this? Having the same issue?

Duff-Box1 commented 8 months ago

Not as yet. First issue is the Eufy solar cameras, to preserve battery life only stream when triggered by an event. With the Eufy security integration there is a control to activate rstp stream but when pressed the stream doesn't show up in my HA. You can however activate streaming for a 3-4 minutes by turning off and on the setting to allow rstp streams. Not too useful though. Also the event still images don't seem to update reliably either (motion triggered but no new event image on the integration) so still looking at all this.

That's the exact same as mine sometimes even refreshing starts them up again. Before the eufy update it worked perfectly.
