What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. error [139987735906128]: main() : could not load translations for it_IT
2. error [139987735906128]: main() : file not found
/usr/share/translations/qosmic_it_IT.qm
3. error: parsing a double or int attribute's value.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
error parsing flame element 
Segmentation fault

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.4.4 Ubuntu Jaunty amd_64

For a temorary fix run qosmic like this: LANG=C qosmic

There's a new 1.4.5 release available that contains a patch which fixes this 
problem.
