RFE: Android Toast-like Dialog

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Toast.createToast("toastmessage");

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would love to have a Toast-like dialog that doesn't block the UI and is half 
transparent at the bottom of the screen. I think this is very useful to show 
the user that something worked/didn't work/is in progress and doesn't block the 
user's workflow.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
latest cn1, w7
