Bug: Elm's Lab - Gift from Aide After Mystery Egg fails to deliver #10

What happened?

Three Poke Game Rando, Red/Crystal/Emerald. Crystal failed to give the mystery egg item from elm's lab after the egg hatched.

What were the expected results?

even with the egg having hatched, the item should be given.

... Update, turns out I didn't get the mystery egg, I got a random egg and mis-marked the tracker like, days beforehand.
