For evaluating a set of cycle positions.
In runcycletestsandplot.py I've made minimal (none iirc) changes to lightvector's code on lines 94-259 and 276-357, so have limited understanding of those parts. So would prefer to leave those as is unless there's any noteworthy problems with them or intersection with other parts.
Usability feedback would be especially helpful.
