It'd be really nice if there was a section on GIS on the website, the topic itself is huge and there's a lot of material to cover.

Having exercises to help explain the material would be very nice.

Hey,

This is definitely an area I'd like to explore. In all honestly it's a little down my priority list for major updates. My rough order of priorities are:

DML
DDL
JSON/Array/Other rich datatypes
GIS

I'm making some decent progress on the first two, but my overall rate of progress on the site is pretty poor lately, mostly due to having a very young family. I hope to get there one day though :-).
