I think this plugin may be cool, where you can put roles on on friends or other users overall, pick a color and some image to go with.
Plugin data could be shared between those who also have it, like the badges plugin!! id rlly like to see it :)

About the layout, i think maybe for just a "+" where the roles usually go when you see a profile inside a server that can work outside of servers aswell, that the roles that you provide to others arent avaiable to everyone, but everyone can see your own personal role as long as you also have the plugin, idk if im explaining myself correctly, but i think its pretty simple so yeah
