Could you describe in more detail what you are looking for? The next thing I wanted to do was create a wiki with more detailed instructions on how to get started but I haven't gotten around to that yet.
@tableforyounyc how would you like me to contact you?

No need for that. Already got someone to help with setup and run. Curious, Resy has the notify feature where they email people on the waitlist for tables but by the time you click on the email(which has been sent to hundreds if not thousands of people) they are always gone. Is there a way to auto snipe reservations as they are released off notify?
Also very interested in the Open Table Bot. That's my next install :)

Glad you were able to find help @tableforyounyc.

It's been discussed (see https://github.com/Alkaar/resy-booking-bot/issues/55). It's possible but as of now, it's lower on the priority list for me. Personally, I find you are more likely to get a reservation you want when they all become available than hoping for someone to cancel a reservation they don't need.

Is that the name of a specific one or one you are interested in general? I had considered writing one but honestly, I find the OpenTable workflow kind of a pain to code against along with not many restaurants that I'm too interested in on OpenTable.
For Open Table, Bad Roman and maybe one other restaurant comes to mind. Tock is more practical imo since Naka and Office of Mr Moto is on that one.
@tableforyounyc I created a bot that will automatically snipe reservations the way you described, so if people cancel their reservation, my bot is checking every 5 minutes if a reservation is available and it has worked great for me, but it is only setup for personal use at the moment.
@dexterrenick 5 min window is pretty big considering you are competing with hundreds(sometimes thousands) of people the second the email gets sent out from Resy Notify that there's one available. Curious, are you from SLC?
@tableforyounyc You'd be surprised. It has worked for me on every restaurant I've run it on. Resy probably queries their db for people that requested notifications of available reservations, and it would be pretty expensive for them to check new openings frequently, and pushing out those notifications can be slow as well, so I've found 5 minutes to work perfectly well. And no, Boston.
Gotcha. Would you be interested in selling the platform with me or maybe work on a cost per reservation basis? I'm open to ideas.
@tableforyounyc I have a web interface for it, so I would be interested in discussing it. Send me an email dexter.renick@gmail.com
I'm assuming we're good here so closing out this issue
Looking to have someone walk me through this bot to ensure Im not wasting my time or end up making a mistake.
Willing to pay for a short consult via text or Zoom Voice.
