What will the recipe produce?

Converts slabs to blocks.

What will the recipe look like?

Shapeless recipe

X X X X a X X a X

`X` = nothing
`a` = half slab

Why should this be added?

Sometimes you just have too many slabs. This would help fix that.

Recipe MUST be shapeless so that we can still craft quartz pillars or chiseled sandstone.

I'll check to see how this is working in the files once it is released because currently it is shapeless crafting in that pattern and I am not sure how the game would interpret two of the same recipe having 2 differing recipes. :/
