OrCAD BOM Variants #120

As far as I understand, OrCAD by itself doesn't have variants(?). Some of the OSHW boards I ran into (like beagleplay) have "variant" information in text on the schematic, and track it manually in the BOM. OrCAD CIS seems to have variants, but I'm not how we can extract that info.
