Particles appear through blocks when an item is picked up #536

Currently playing on the latest version of the mod pack with no mod additions. Complementary Reimagined shaders is enabled on default High settings.

Steps to reproduce:

Drop an item.
Pick the item up while looking to a particle emitting block (e.g. End Portal, Torch).
The particles become visible through the block for a split second, sometimes with black color.

This both applies for with shaders on and off.

This also happens when picking up XP and shows the location of all spawners around you.

I think it's radon causing this specific issue. I replaced it with starlight and the particles through walls was gone, but the performance was significantly worse. I was under the impression starlight was supposed to be much faster. I guess it may have some compatibility issues. I know starlight and create had a lot of issues before so that may be an issue still. Right now i guess it's a choice between good fps and not seeing stuff through walls
