ATM7 To the Sky - Mod Suggestion Thread #45

Please comment here with any suggestions for mods you would like to see included in the modpack and the dev team may consider it.

Refined Storage will not be added, it is not under consideration, and any comments including it will be deleted.

Mods must be for forge, updated to 1.18.2, and on curseforge. Please include a link directly to the mod's page on curseforge

Even though there is LaserIO for all manners of transportation, I am uncertain of range limits. Ergo, my suggestion is to add modular routers

.. it's just so handy and I really miss it now I got used to it. And I think leather is sufficiently hard to get (early game) that it's a good fit! Thanks for the consideration!

Strongly disagree with that since :

  1. Their issue page is nearly empty. If you find a bug don't hesitate to report it so it can be fixed
  2. It includes performance features by default that Storage Drawers doesn't (like the rendering distance)
  3. The fact that you can link drawer from a distance is huge (at least for me)

the renderin of items in the drawer is a config in both mods, the default is just off in storage drawers.

I would like to see this mod in the modpack https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/auto-smithing-table because of functional storage needing the smithing table for the last upgrade I would like to fully automate it which is why I would like to see this mod in the pack

Would be cool to see some more mod parity between ATM7 and ATM7s such as: Elemental Craft Nature's Aura Roots Classic EvilCraft Hex Casting

I understand why you would reference 1, however it does not match my experience in the pack. Whenever I am attaching Pipez or reconfiguring drawer upgrades, there is a significant chance one or some of the drawers will stop working with the controller. I have a "storage room" in-game, and I've had to relink the drawers to the controller more than a dozen times without moving the drawers. It is very unreliable. I haven't reported it because I can't repro it.

I also love 2 and 3.

Baubley Heart Canisters I feel that this mod helps with blood Magic passive farms also allows the player to gain more max life. The recipes can even be tweaked as needed to change it up a bit. https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/baubley-heart-canisters

I would think that a Rubber tree (Myrtrees) would give you the best latex output being they are rubber and so it latex but its not its only 1mb every 5t. Please consider raising this as it would make the tree much more useful.

Hey there, I'm the developer of AE Additions. Just to clarify, I have not added an Ore dict export bus just yet. That is coming soon. Right now, the main features of my mod are bigger cells, bigger crafting storage, super storage cells(allows you to put chemicals, items and fluids in 1 storage cell) and then also the ME Wireless Transceiver, which works similar to AE2 Stuff's Wireless block from 1.12.2, with a few changes. I'll also be adding a network visualizer soon.

There have been reports of people accumulating resources in such large volumes that it becomes infeasible to use the standard 256k ME cells for storage without making several hundreds of those cells. As such, an add-on that adds larger capacity cells would be a welcome addition to the pack.

Full disclosure: I am the (so far) sole developer of this add-on and it has already made its debut in ATM7 (non-skyblock).

I'd suggest AE Additions instead of MEGA Cells as it has support for Chemical Cells and AE2 Things's disK drives

MEGA also has support for chemical cells. For now, no DISKs however.

As a huge fan of Create, I think maybe a few Create addons other than Create Craft and Additions which I consider isn't a proper addon, there's so many to choose from that listing them all could take forever. also I have yet to see anyone using Create in ATM7 TTS lets play, this mod offers so many great possibilities.

Should I also Mention Lootr here, for players that are playing with friends its nice that everyone can loot the same chest once. https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/lootr

Love it, now that we are in game, we noticed a few missing mods that I consider QoL, Plonk https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/plonk is one of them, you can basically put any item on anywhere by using the P shortcut, I think this is a function that was in Draconic Evolution in the old days. Very handy to exchange stuff in multiplayer, don't need to drop, don't need to use a chest, just plonk it down and the other player can take it. I will probably have other ideas, oh yeah, bumping the FTB Ultimine to 128 or 192 blocks would be nice for these huge spruce trees, 64 isn't enough to cut them down completely, same happens with jungle trees.

Generating Flora that consumes dropped items can also consume items on Create depots or mechanical belts inactive or active.

Draconic Evolution I would really love to see Draconic Evolution, as it has been a mod that's been with me for a very long time (and I think a lot of players would agree) although it's true that a lot of end game resources, and therefore one of the main reasons to DE, I would like to see what the community can manage to do. Also I don't think it's gonna do any harm to install it, wouldn't it?

I second that. It is included in FTB SkyFactory 3 and it was such a nice end game mod that really added some value to the skyblock pack. And it looks to be maintained quite well and up to date.
