[Bug]: Enderman heads dont drop at all #362

What happened?

Enderman heads do not drop whatsoever for killing endermans, even a kitted out the ender sword that is supposed to be config'd to having more mob head drops dont do anything for endermans. i have an enderman farm in the end spawning a bunch of enderman but to no avail not a single head drops that i can start enderIO with.

I am also running into this issue. I've tried beheading upgrades with MobGrinding Utils I also tried using the Mob Grinder from Draconic Evolution, which accepts a sword to kill mobs with, but no Enderman heads dropping.

It seems to only be possible to obtain them VIA manually killing Enderman with The Ender

i made a fully enchanted The Ender sword from enderIO with scavenger 3 and looting 7 and a 5% loot pinata and still no heads are dropping.

updated to version 1.0.6 and still no ender heads are dropping but other heads are fine.

I'm having a similar issue, all heads drop other than enderman heads. Is this a mod issue or a pack issue?

are you using The Ender sword? this seems to be the way to get their heads.

Still having this issue in 1.0.7, replicated all mentioned steps (the ender, looting, vorpal, etc.) with 0 drops whatsoever on enderman heads only

After changing the difficulty to hard, this issue resolved itself, thus I believe normal and below will not result in any heads being dropped currently, and is likely not intended behavior

The enderman head is the last piece I need for the ATM star (for the Sentient Ender in the Philosopher's Fuel). I'm running 1.1.0 and have been using:

Chaos Staff of Power with Vorpal VIII (and a number of other enchantments) on endermen in The End
The Ender with only Sharpness IX on endermen in The End
Mob Grinding Utils Mob Masher with 10x Beheading upgrades and an Apotheosis Spawner churning out endermen

None seem to be giving me endermen heads. I was on Normal difficulty, but have switched to Hard, and even restarted both client and server (I'm running on a local server so it can run 24 x 7), with no change.

FWIW, server is on a headless Arch Linux no GUI install, and client is through FTB App on an Arch Linux laptop.
