[ux improvement idea] Display of Machine selected in preferences does not indicate where to edit this #649

Current display of Machine does not indicate clearly where the user needs to go to edit the setting (Preferences).

Possible solution would be to make that display in the right panel a dropdown where users could make a selection. Another idea would be a tool tip or something that says "edit in preferences".

This doesn't seem like a priority for 1.0 so I'll mark it "Next", but it's an easy fix so I can probably do this soon.
