For vanilla-completeness I need to include the below list of Smithing Templates.
I have shortlisted all the options to the list below, already discounting locations for which we don't have a Chunk Wars equivalent.
All chests will need to be re-checked against the respective updated vanilla loot tables.
Netherite Upgrade 100% chance of 1 in the Treasure Room chest of the Bastion chunk 10% chance of 1 in any Generic chest https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Bastion_Remnant#Treasure https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Bastion_Remnant#Generic
Coast Armor Trim 16.7% chance of 2 in either Treasure, Map, or Supply chest of a Shipwreck https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Shipwreck#Loot
Dune Armor Trim 14.3% chance of 2 in a Desert Pyramid chest https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Desert_pyramid#Chest_Loot
Eye Armor Trim 100% chance of 1 in a Library chest 10% chance of 1 in an Altar chest https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Stronghold#Loot
Rib Armor Trim 6.7% chance of 1 in a Nether Fortress chest https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Nether_Fortress#Loot
Sentry Armor Trim 25% chance of 2 in the Pillager Outpost chest https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Pillager_Outpost#Loot
Silence Armor Trim 1.2% chance of 1 in an Ancient City chest https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Ancient_City#Loot
Snout Armor Trim 8.3% chance of 1 in either Generic chest or Treasure chest https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Bastion_Remnant#Generic https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Bastion_Remnant#Treasure
Spire Armor Trim 6.7% chance of 1 in an End City chest https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/End_City#Loot
Vex Armor Trim 50% chance of 1 in a Woodland Mansion chest https://minecraft.wiki/w/Woodland_Mansion#Loot
Note to self... In Woodland Mansions, only chests with random loot have the chance to contain the Vex Smithing Template, chests in the "Allium room", "Sapling farm", "Tree-chopping room" and "Fake End portal room" always generate with the same, room specific, loot.
If I want Vex Armor Trim Smithing Template in for completeness, I will need to change the Woodland Mansion Chunk. My structure only has space for 2 rooms, and currently these are a Fake End Portal Room with 2 Ender Pearls, 2 TNT, and 1 Trapped Chest, along with Infested Cobblestone and Wool, and a Forge Room with an Anvil and a Lava Source. I will have to swap one of these rooms out for another room with a valid chest location, unless I can find somehow find space for a 3rd room, or 2 adjoining rooms on the upper level.
It looks like the possible locations for a random loot chest would be either; Checkerboard room, Secret X room (I don't think this fits), Gray Banner room, Winding Stairway room (tried this before, doesn't fit), Bedroom with loft, Clean chest room, Attic room (2 tiers, no ladders), Arena room (has ladders and 2 tiers, could allow players to move to the roof more easily also),
Ward Armor Trim 5% chance of 1 in an Ancient City chest https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Ancient_City#Loot
Wild Armor Trim 33.3% chance of 2 in a Jungle Pyramid chest https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Jungle_pyramid#Loot
Wayfinder Armor Trim Shaper Armor Trim Host Armor Trim Raiser Armor Trim All have 8.3% chance of 1 appearing in any particular block of Suspicious Gravel in a Trail Ruins
Tide Armor Trim Elder guardians have a 20% chance to drop 1 tide armor trim upon death. Looting doesn't affect this percentage, and the elder guardian doesn't need to be killed by a player in order for the trim to drop.
Note to self... Add 100% drop rate for the Tide Armor Trim
References;
To include the Vex Armor Trim Smithing Template, I will need to remove at least 1 of the 2 rooms in the Woodland Mansion, or find space for a 3rd room somehow, in order to create a valid Chest location.
I would prefer not to remove the Fake End Portal Room as it has 2 Ender Pearls in it, intended for combining with Blaze Powder (crafted from Blaze Rods) acquired from the Nether, in order to spawn in The End by completing the End Portal in the Second Stronghold that is located in the Cherry Grove (currently Flower Forest).
I would prefer not to remove the Forge Room as it gives teams direct access to an Anvil, and without me giving teams an abundance of early Iron that they could use (instead of crafting into an Anvil) to create Armor and Tools that are too strong for early on in the game.
