Desert Pyramids in Minecraft often generate partially underground. What if the Chunk Wars Desert Pyramid was built like that?
Would reduce the vertical height of the TNT Trap, possibly substantially.
Would open up Chunk surface to include things like a Desert Well, Desert Village (more vanilla implementation of Camels).
More space for Cactuses and Dead Bushes.
More space for rise and fall on the surface of the Chunk, wouldn't have to be all one level as it is now.
Would affect gameplay as there would not be a 'staging post' for attackers coming in on a diagonal line (perhaps encouraging more sneaking through Village and Jungle instead).
I think it might be worth exploring a mock-up to see what else I could fit below ground in the space.
I could include a Fossil in the Desert chunk for earlier access to large amounts of Bone Blocks and therefore Bonemeal, rather than that only being in the Swamp or Nether as it is currently.
I need to add the new Archaeology room to the Desert Pyramid.
This gives an opportunity to revisit the width (odd/even) of the pyramid and consider completely redesigning it.
This provides a further opportunity to redesign the basement and introduce a cave system, to take advantage of the new underground caves.
@slipcor We need to add 2 Camels to the surface of the Desert Chunk.
