Extremely low quality images in albums #1366

Images in albums load in very low quality, often lower than in previews on the post containing the album.

Additionally, there is no way to click on them to make them fullscreen or download them, so there's just no way to view them in their original resolution.

What version are you on? You should be able to long press images from the newsfeed. It loads the same url as the preview so the quality should be the same, and you can download from there

I'm on v2.2.2 from F-Droid.

You're correct, when I long press on images in albums it does work, however this is only good for albums that have less than 5 photos. If there are any more photos and they show up as for example "+6" in the album, pressing that will only bring up the first photo with "+6" as a description.

This makes it impossible to view the rest of the images in their original resolution, as only a low res version is loaded in the scrollable album view that appears after tapping on the image.

Alright. I'll see what I can do, though I don't know why the images are so low res. I'd need to replicate and test it when I have time
