Issue summary

minor aesthetics but otherwise figure 1 is fine

Details

Figure 1 is fine. I don’t love the red boxes around “Reference structure variation” and “Image structure variation” as these make it look like a PowerPoint slide. Maybe check in with Thao about aesthetics.

it looks like editing the line colors would take either find/replace color functionality or access to the vector file that generated the image. calling this good until final pass aesthetics. unless @gregjohnso has the (ppt?) file handy?
