I have downloaded the pdf file, the alignment of text differs from page to page, why is that? screenshot from 2014-05-01 20 33 24

Not the author, but I imagine it's because it's been set to be printed in a regular book format. E.g. pages where the text is on the left would be the left hand page and pages where the text is on the right would be the right hand page.

The book is written in LaTeX, right? Can't we fix this by adding proper alignment in LaTeX?

Tom is correct. Book is laid out for print with wide gutters.

I could adjust it in LaTeX, but it is a low priority for now.

Thanks! Allen
