I can't replicate this in my installation. Also see Issue 36.

I replicated this error in the VM and fixed it.

The problem was that I had some "[put-mathml_stuff_here]" in the header that got replaced in post-processing. But the replace-me text was causing a parse error (in Tal, I think).
