About figures. does oreilly convert pdf to png for html? What we do at SAS is create one PNG graphic at 300dpi to use for the pdf, and downsample that to 100dpi on-the-fly for HTML processing. I suppose they will want to deliver both html and pdf?

Hi Allen,

At present, we use PDF versions of the images for the print version of our book, and PNG versions of the images for all ebook formats. (Though we're currently looking into simplifying our toolchain to support using PNG exclusively for print and ebook).

I'm thinking for now, we'd like both PDF and PNG versions of images delivered, although Adam may want to weigh in on this further.
