Dan Kapner documented some obvious problems in the initial VBO data release files. The checks to catch these problems is here.

Once we have a new tranche of NWB files to release, we should run these checks to make sure everything is still behaving as expected.
Might look into implementing these checks in the VBO plug in for informatics_data_release_tools.
