An open-use web application created for easy access, collaboration, and sharing of datasets through rich metadata search, filter, sort, and direct viewing in common industry applications or in our web-based 3D Volume Viewer.
It's been noticed by Graham and design that the queries have a few styling issues:
Need more contrast (consider box shadow to help each look more distinct)
All of the text creates quite a bit of noise. Not sure if ALL of the info is necessary to show in collapsed state (see example below)
The chevron is missing (in collapsed state it should be pointing down, in open state should be pointing up)
Titles may need to stand out more (Graham suggested just a simple underline)
Do all of the filter values need to show? Would count of filers applied suffice?
Sean suggested asking users what they would need when creating multiple queries. Is all of the filter and sorting info helpful or is there a reduced version that makes sense? Maybe not? Maybe just reducing the weight of the labels and using a less-contrasting color for values would do the trick!
