Tech debt: Refactor components and utils for consistency and efficiency

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. As a developer, I want the React project to be consistent, simple and efficient so that it is easy to make updates and components are modular.

Describe the solution you'd like There are several improvements we can target by refactoring the App and Toolbar components and the utils functions. Some examples include:

• Refactor variable names and function names to be consistent and easily understandable:
  • e.g. schemaList, schemaLinks, schemaPaths, schemaPath, schemaURL, selectedSchemaPath, selectedSchemaType, schema, data, formData
  • camelCase for functions, PascalCase for components
  • descriptive names for parameters and variables
• Add JSDocs to describe functions, components, parameters, return types
  • JSDocs rules can optionally be added to the linter
• Refactor static functions vs components
  • static functions can be moved to utils (schema version sorting, logic in certain callbacks)
  • e.g. state changes do not require re-sort all schemas
  • consolidate props in components so that parent and child components do not have duplicate props and state changes that can mis-match
  • reorganize unit test suites as required
