speed up GUI - Githubissues

The GUI is pretty slow to open. We should examine what the bottle necks are.
- One obvious thing is that we start bonsai and then stall while waiting for it to open. We could alternatively open bonsai, then continue on our way loading other things, only checking if bonsai is open at the end.
- activating the conda environment is also slow. We should check if there are standard tricks for this, and whether we have unused packages to remove.
NewStage queries to grab position cause the GUI to stall at trial start
Analyze data to see if how variable the trial interval is. Then we can determine if (when implemented) auto save is slowing things down

Per my email this morning I will be assigning scientists to tackle issues in the behavior rooms. @bwtan-allen Could you investigate this issue?

Note here that the GUI is also slow to open in 446, where newscale is not in use.
