Summary

• Reorganized files to match a package structure.
  • fixed import statements so that everything can still be found.
  • removed local copies of libraries that can be pip-installed and added them to the pyproject.toml for automatic installation.
  • Added notes on how to install the few dependencies that cannot be pip-installed in the readme.
• Once you pip-install the code, you can launch the main script by opening a terminal and typing exaspim
• added a .gitignore file

I didn't make any functional code changes. I would recommend switching to the dev/package branch in github to look at the new folder structure from the web, instead of looking at the "Files Changed" part in this pull request.

Plan for Merging

Let's get this tested on the Exaspim PC by installing launching the code in a siloed virtual environemnt and confirming we can run the main script. Then this should be safe to merge.
