All Cameras from ZWO should work but keep in mind that those with a large sensor will produce large images and it will put more load on the Raspberry Pi cpu and ram.
Yep, I have an ASI178MC and the image resolution (3096x2080) breaks the timelapse function. So I added some code to resize the image 50% before saving. This allows the timelapse to work and the images still look really good.
This issue is from a much older release of the AllSky software. If you think it might still be relevant, please test it with the newest version and submit a new issue if needed. Thanks.
Are there any updates to the recommended cameras (new/better cameras) vs what is in the readme?
