Currently, the app stops recording when

The user leaves the app,
The device orientation changes and
Keyboard input gets activated.

This leads to three proposed changes:

Whether or not to stop recording when the user leaves the app should be a user-defined setting,
The app should not stop recording when the orientation changes and
It should resume recording once keyboard input gets deactivated, if it was recording prior to the input getting activated.
