EmulationStation not responding to keyboard input upon launch (f4 will exit). #143

I previously was using RetroPie/EmulationStation via an SD image downloaded from RetroPie. It seemed to be working fine but I then made a new SD with NOOBS and installed Rasbian.

I then used the RetroPie script to set up everything again. I didn't receive any error messages. I plopped some ROMs (that worked fine in my last installation) into the proper directories.

If I launch EmulationStation the AppleII emulator launches but the keyboard left/right arrows do not change emulators nor am I prompted to configure controls as I was when I installed from the RetroPie SD image.

I can F4 to exit.

I then tried updating everything from RetroPie-Setup but I'm not getting any different results with everything updated.

I tried removing the contents of AppleII, Doom, Cavestory, DukeNukem3d, so it would just leave the consoles I'm interested in emulating. Now upon launch I am presented with the Genesis emulator but still the arrow keys do not scroll the list nor change emulators. No key seems to have any result except for F4.

Egads, of course I figure it out within 10 minutes of filing the issue.

I nuked the es_input.cfg in /.emulationstation and then when I launched EmulationStation it ran me through keyboard config.
