Emulationstation 2.0 menu screen #424

HI, good day! I have a desktop icon on the menu list which has a bash script of startx which launches lxde. But what i want to know is how can i edit emulationstation to launch the menu item on the first time i press enter instead of it going into another screen then clicking again to launch.

To reference what i previous said i think the answer to my problem is to solve this. I see in the code there is a basicgamelistview.cpp and a detailgamelistview.cpp. How do i disable the detailgamelistview.cpp.
