Anyone have any idea what this might mean? Im using retroarch here is my config file

gba Game Boy Advance D:\Games\GB, GBC, GBA\Games\Gameboy Advanced .gba D:\Games\retroarch\retroarch.exe D:\Games\retroarch\libretro\vbam_libretro.dll "%ROM_RAW%" gba gba

and the log file

lvl2: (missing) lvl2: Attempting to launch game... lvl2: D:\Games\retroarch\retroarch.exe D:\Games\retroarch\libretro\vbam_libretro.dll "D:\Games\GB, GBC, GBA\Games\Gameboy Advanced\Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.gba" lvl1: ...launch terminated with nonzero exit code -1073741819! lvl2: Creating surface... lvl2: Created window successfully.

When i load a rom from emulation station Retroarch loads up and i see my overlay but then retroarch crashes. Don't know if that is something on emulationstation side or retroarch side.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

This is almost certainly from RetroArch's side (probably from the vbam core to be precise).

Try running D:\Games\retroarch\retroarch.exe D:\Games\retroarch\libretro\vbam_libretro.dll "D:\Games\GB, GBC, GBA\Games\Gameboy Advanced\Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.gba" from the command prompt manually and see if it works. You might get more detailed error messages this way.

Yeah i think you are correct. I am very new to this but are you saying to just launch that via cmd or is there a place in retroarch's folder that i can launch a command prompt specifically for that

Aloshi commented 9 years ago

Just launch it from cmd.

DigDug5 commented 9 years ago

Just ran it through CMD and the same thing happend as it does when launching from emulationstation

Retroarch: [libretro INFO] :: Frontend supports RGB565 - will use that instead of XRGB1555 Retroarch: [libretro INFO] :: GameID in Rom is : V Retroarch: [libretro INFO] :: RTC = 0 Retroarch: [libretro INFO] :: flashSize = 65536 Retroarch: [libretro INFO] :: cpuSaveType = 0 Retroarch: [libretro INFO] :: mirroringEnable=0

And here is what Retroarch says under problem details.
