Weird Screen after starting EmulationStation #577

Installed EmulationStation on my Windows 8 PC and get this screen as soon as I start the program. EmulationStation never runs pass this point. Have looked everywhere for a fix. What does this mean? What do I do? eserror

i get similar on my windows 10 just install the softwareand won't start

saying we can't ------------------ check that your path are correct on the systems configuration and you games directory has at least one game wth the correct extension

Hi @frenchiefr - this is the default screen when you don't have any systems configured. Take a look at the README.md for details on how to set those up: https://github.com/Aloshi/EmulationStation#writing-an-es_systemscfg

Apologies for hitting an older thread but I had the same problem as Monkey76, however lowering my screen resolution sorted it. Thought I would share in case anyone else finds this thread looking for a solution, as I initially did.
