7 years ago I've got the same issue and tested the exact same setup. But I run windows 8.1. Except that I get "System Configuration invalid or not been setup" at EmulationStation startup. I also have alot of other systems installed with retroarch, but with them it works perfectly. As soon as I try to add mupen64plus I get that message. Tried alot of different setups. Installed it manually etc. It won't work! Found a solution?
i have emulation station set up on my pc (windows 7 64 bit) and all games work besides n64 games when i select a n64 game it exits emulation station shows desktop and goes back to rom select for n64 help here is my sys config if you need it
