Roms found but don't open (Windows) #756

I have emulationstation and retroarch set up and the es-systems file configured properly but when I go to open a game (all of them show up) it fades to black then shows my desktop and fades back to emulationstation. I have no clue how to fix it.

Look at the contents of es_log.txt inside your .emulationstation folder right after trying to launch a game, it should tell you what went wrong, considering retroarch is running fine standalone.
