Controller sensitivity too high on EmulationStation frontend #867

Im using a controller based on Arduino Pro Micro (Atmega32U4), a DB9 joystick to USB adapter in fact.

Emulationstation GUI is registering multiple button presses and jumping all over the place when trying using this controller.

The controller works fine when games or Retroarch menu are running, so the problem is only present at ES frontend. The controller is also working fine on other platforms like MiSTer FPGA or RGB-Pi.

Is there a way to adjust the contoller sensibility on the frontend?

Hi there. I'm having a similar issue with joystick up/down controls. It keeps skipping entries. Controls work normally in Retropie setup, command line, Retroarch, etc. Definitely specific to Emulation Station. I've tried resetting the controller config many times and reimaged as well but problem persists. Would love to know if you found a solution or not?

I'm also experiencing this issue. I'm using an AYN Loki Max and the built on controls. If I press up or down on the d-pad in a gamelist it will register as if if pressed twice and skip a game entry. On the systems page pressing left or right it will do the dame and skip a system. Oddly the analog stick doesn't have this issue. But this isn't ideal as the mouse is still acrive and this causes the cursor to move.
