I've had ghost items a few times with just vanilla hoppers too. Except those ghost items appear to me, the server host, while showing as incomplete castings for others on the server. This also leaves a desync in the Melter, where I can still see molten metal while others on the server see it as empty.
Issue still persists in 1.20.1. Probably related to #43

Describe your issue
I was experimenting with automation capabilities between TiC (Hephaestus Fabric), Create, and Applied Energistics 2, and I came across this visual bug when using Create Chutes, Funnels, and the AE2 Import Bus to extract items from Casting Tables. I expected the item display to disappear normally once the item has been extracted from the casting table, and it does happen when using vanilla hoppers. With Create and AE2 means, the actual item is still extracted and appears in inventories properly, but a visual ghost item of the same kind is displayed on the table which cannot be interacted with by the player. Other items can still be placed in the basin and it will continue to function properly, but the ghost item remains overlaid on top of the actual item being processed. When a new recipe is used on the casting table, a ghost of the new item replaces the old. The visual ghost items finally disappear when quitting and re-entering the world. This is about everything I gathered about this bug that I can think of.
I used a redstone ticker to activate the faucets in the first example clip, but this bug is still present when fluids are poured manually, as in the second clip. It is also present with the Casting Basin and with both Seared and Scorched casting blocks.
