During the workshop in LIma an editor openly told me that when he needs to look
at hierarchies, he uses this GUI of agrovoc:
http://www4.fao.org/agrovoc/inicio.htm
So, he first searches for things there, and then goes to the WB to enter data.
Now, one of the problem with this procedure is that the two GUI have different
search implemented. So, searching for the same term gives different results
there and in the WB. Big confusion follows. Try for exaple searching for "maiz"
in the two places.

Speaking with Gudrun we decided the following changes would mostly solve the
problem:
1. The current concept should always be displayed as the first sibling.
2. Parent nodes should not be expanded (should not show their siblings).

Ref 1. Go to
http://aims.fao.org/en/pages/594/sub?mytermcode=7216&mylang_interface=en&myLangu
age=EN
Ref 2. Go to http://www4.fao.org/agrovoc/default.htm and Search for solanum
We can create one more tab called Hierarchy and show the hierarchy of the
selected concept.
*********** BT organisms
********** BT Eukaryota
********* BT Plantae
******** BT Embryophyta
******* BT Tracheophyta
****** BT spermatophyta
***** BT Magnoliophyta
*** BT Magnoliopsida
** BT Solanales
* BT Solanaceae
Solanum
* NT Solanum aethiopicum
* NT Solanum berthaultii
* NT Solanum chacoense
* NT Solanum commersonii
* NT Solanum hyporhodium
* .....
Could you please clarify the above 2 points from comment 2 based on above
examples what has to be displayed in the hierarchy.
Is it that we show just immediate parent for selected Solanum and all the child
of it or all the parents without their siblings?

Ref 2 mentioned in comment 5 returns error 404. Since people know and use that
interface, there should be either an informative message ("this page no longer
maintained, please use..."), or simply a redirect to the desired interface.
