simple search is actually quite complex and restrictive + other observations #478

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. type "platano" in search box 
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I get no result, although I know there is something about platano in agrovoc. 
What happens is that platano in Agrovoc is spelt as "plátano" and for this 
reason is not found. The problem is that you won´t find even using "fuzzy 
search". The same applies with "maiz" which is spelt with í. 

Note that you wont find "maiz" using any of the search options presented in the 
menu.

Now, consider that platano and maiz together constitute the basic diet of some 
half latinoamerica...  Also, I have been reported some mistakes in the use of 
accents in the spanish version of Agrovoc, as in the case of Aloe, erroneously 
spelt with accented A'. 

1. Proposal: in quick search, relax matching criteria so as to accept both 
letters with accent and without accent. At least for languages using 
latin-based alphabet.  

2. menu in demo version and in development version are different: "Fuzzy 
search" only appears in devel. Is it intended to be like that?

3. Unclear what a "Fuzzy search" is. 

4. Proposal: have simple search always accassible, and move those search 
options to "Advanced search". 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Checked again on 09.05.2011: http://202.73.13.50:55481/vocbenchv1.1i/
Now I find platano, but I continue to miss maiz... always tested with "exact 
word". 

Some systematic checks with search functions is still needed. To me, only one 
default search "style" should be available as simple search.
