Clarify main vs AlphaPart_variance branches #6

@Prof-ThiagoOliveira we seem to have diverged branches - I see this for the AlphaPart_variance branch versus the main - what do you propose we do to squash this problem?

This branch is 13 commits ahead, 49 commits behind main.

I am having a look at it right now. Actually this branch was merged in the main. I left it open for test. As there is no additional information to be added in the main, I decided to delete it.

@Prof-ThiagoOliveira I am coming back to this issue - when I look over at the fork https://github.com/HighlanderLab/AlphaPart/tree/AlphaPart_variance I see commits that don's seem to be merged - do we have branch that got stuck in the fork?
