Something appears to have fixed the UI issue shown in the top-left image. @GranMinigun Can you confirm?
I don't see either bug on my side. Cursor lighting applies correctly, all map tiles are present. Although I can see grid lines sometimes being drawn on top of map tiles, even for fully explored parts. Not sure if that's a thing with native D3D8, and if it's related anyhow.
At what resolution do you run the game at? 1920x1080 and below run as intended. Anything above is a mess. It's also v1.04 / no-CD (1.06) patch-only issue.

If you mean the blue background grid occasionally bleeding on the map (like that?), I believe it's normal. It's been happening for as long as I remember.
1920x1080, don't have anything higher than that. And yeah, that grid. It just seems to appear and go away as I move the map, but I don't remember if it always was like that. Been a very long time ago.

I did some backtracking and found out that this specific bug was fixed in Wine v8.6.
@GranMinigun Same on this one, would be great to retest this with dxvk 2.4 if you can.
Unable to repro on a 1920x1080 display, and running through Gamescope just crashes the game.
I would suspect this simply being a problem with the 1.06 patched version of the game, unless Windows behaves correctly here. But I don't think the patch was necessarily designed with 2K/4K in mind.
In-building UI panel has a visual bug in its lower part with 3 separate lines going back to top-left. (possibly normal map?)
Some of the in-menu map grid tiles are missing in vertical line.
Both issues start at 2560x1440 resolution. 1920x1080 is OK. For comparison, this also happens with both WineD3D and d3d8to9 + DXVK.
Software information
A.I.M.: Artificial Intelligence Machines, version 1.06 only (can be grabbed @ http://mx.skyriver.ru/faq_mech1.phtml)
Patch 1.06 is the only version that has this issue, all earlier versions are OK. Patch 1.06 introduced better widescreen handling (visible on the screenshots).
