jscrollpane horizontal not working in ie8 due to invalid argument

I'm getting a javascript error for the jquery.min.js only in IE when trying to 
use the horizontal scrolling for devices at the top of the page.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Go to this page in ie8 http://dev.speckproducts.com/macbooks.html

2. The javascript error is on line 116 and character 165 of the jquery.min.js

3. This only affects IE, not FF or safari or chrome

Please provide a URL to a page displaying the problem.

I can't support jScrollPaneHorizontal as it was written by someone else. 
However, there is a new version of jScrollPane coming out very soon (tomorrow 
or the start of next week) which supports horizontal scrolling...
