The volume control doesn't work #160

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.0.1 on OS yosemite
Please provide any additional information below.
The volume controls for individual participants in a Hangout (including mute) 
have no effect on the actual volumes of the participants.

agreed: toolbox volume controls, (away switch included), have no effect.
ver: 2.0.1

Adjusting participant volumes used to work for me but no longer has any effect 
Hangouts Toolbox Volume Control.

I am having the same issue. The scroll to change the volume for specific 
participants does nothing and people cannot be muted via the toolbox.

I would actually consider this a high priority in my opinion.

Agreed.  This is a high priority problem.  Individual volume controls are 
arguably the most important feature of hangout toolbox.

Apparently it's a problem on the Google side with the API.  Google has to fix 
this and I'm not sure they care about this massively useful 3rd party app.

Agreed this is definitely a high priority issue. The volume control is the only 
reason I use this addon

Hello all

thanks for raising this issue.

I am crazy busy with work at the moment at this is still a personal project.
I try to have a look at this soon. If this is an issue with the API I will make 
sure to forward it top the right people to investigate.
