I cannot be heard via my Mac Microphone or my headphones #161

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start or attend a Google chat
2. Try to amend the audio options - Default or Built in Microphone
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I can hear other attendees but I cannot be heard. I have tried with and without 
Video and using the different Microphone options.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014)
OS X Yosemite 10.10.3
